Rental and Reservations Policies
Payment: Within 48 hours of receipt of your booking request, you will receive an invoice via email. Payment is DUE UPON RECEIPT OF INVOICE (within 24 hours of receipt) to confirm and hold your date. *If payment is not received within 24 hours, your invoice will be CANCELLED and you will have to submit a new booking request.
Design: Lawn Greetings of Oregon will design your Lawn Greeting based on the information provided by you on your booking request form. We do our best to select items that incorporate the theme/interests/hobbies/colors listed on the order form. Please note that there is a possibility we may not include all items requested.
Placement: FOR SAFETY AND LIABILITY REASONS, PLEASE DO NOT MOVE SIGNS. Placement of your Lawn Greetings is at the discretion of Lawn Greetings of Oregon. We do ask that you take pride in your Lawn Greetings display, and please do not reposition or remove items from the Lawn Greeting, including marketing signs. Lawn Greetings displays can be set up in any grassy area for your viewing pleasure. Displays are placed in certain areas to avoid wind damage and other obstacles, like tree roots, rocks and other things under the surface of the ground. If you have a request of where you would like your display to be placed, please let us know and send a picture...we will do our best to place it there. Lawn Greetings of Oregon is not responsible for damage to underground sprinkler hoses that could get punctured.
Please be mindful of flying debris that could damage our signs (ex: lawnmowers, dogs, etc). Contact with string trimmers (EX: WEEDEATERS) may cause damage as well. *If you have a lawn crew, please refrain from having lawn mowed when a Lawn Greeting display is present, as the grass clippings can stain the signs. Please do not attach balloons to any part of the display.
In the event of a missing or damaged sign you will be invoiced at replacement cost. If a display is ordered for someone else's yard, and they are unhappy and destroy or damage it in any way the renter will be responsible for replacement cost. (The current replacement cost is $25 per piece, so a display of 25 characters would be $625!)
Safety: For the safety of everyone, especially children, please DO NOT allow anyone to play on or around the lawn greetings display. Our display items WILL NOT safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning, sitting or playing on it. Please discourage all persons from playing on or around the display.
We encourage you to pose next to the display to take photographs of your celebration. However, please do not pull the signs from the ground. Lawn Greetings of Oregon and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the set-up or removal of any rental.
If you must cancel your booking, please be sure to cancel at least 24 hour in advance of your booked date and you can choose to receive half of your booking rate as a refund, or you may leave the full amount on credit for a future booking date, based on our availability.
NO REFUND will be given due to the client giving us the wrong address.
NO REFUND will be given due to the homeowner requesting us to remove the lawn greeting display.
NO REFUND will be given due to being denied access to a gated community/residence.
NO REFUND will be given due to any animals that prevent the display from being set up.
NO REFUND will be given for circumstances that prevent us from setting up the display, that are out of our control.
Inclement Weather Policy
Lawn Greetings will be delivered rain, snow or shine!! In the event of inclement weather, set up of your Lawn Greeting may be delayed or we may not be able to set up your LAWN GREETING. *Inclement weather includes lightning/thunderstorms, hurricanes, heavy rain, high winds and any other Act of God that would put us or our lawn display in harm's way.
Delivery & Pick Up Policy
FALL/WINTER MONTHS: We begin installing lawn greetings at dusk (the evening prior to your requested date) and dawn (the morning of your requested date), and begin picking up after dark on your booking date, unless rental has been extended.
SPRING/SUMMER MONTHS: We begin installing lawn greetings at 8 PM (the evening prior to your requested date) and 8 AM (the morning of your requested date), and begin picking up after 8 PM on your booking date, unless rental has been extended.
*Need extra time, let us know and for an additional fee we may be able to extend your rental an extra day or until 10 PM on your booking date, permitting availability.
